• Meet at the Old Oak Tree or along The Common. Despite Bhasin’s and my work on Saturday and the recent event with the CRT there’s piles of rubbish on the towpath and in the bushes.

• Canal litter pick by canoe

• Come and help clean the BMP stretch of the canal and river Brent from a canoe for 45 mins- over 12 yrs old and adults welcome. Sessions at 9.30am and 11am. All equipment provided.

• This is one of a programme of monthly events working with the CRT and their barge. No equipment needed. All details and sign up here.

• Horsenden Hill litter pick
• Horsenden Farm

• We have been advised that, on Thursday 31 August, Horsenden Lane North will be closed from the bridge over the canal to the Ballot Box pub. It’s a perfect opportunity for us to litterpick the bushes along the lane as it’s usually too dangerous for us to get at the litter there. 
• Meet at Horsenden Farm at 10:00am, bring litter picker and gloves plus snack and water.
